Background
Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN with a background in software development that allowed me to travel the world and meet new people. Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe enrolled and my favorite color is gold. I've been making music since I was a kid, my grandpa would play the guitar and I would make up my own songs. My favorite food is Wildrice Hotdish but if you ever come between me and some frozen strawberries...it's over for you!
History of Music
They've always told me that I've been singing since before I could talk, so I can never think back to a time "before music". I remember when I was really young I would always sing and make up songs and force everyone to watch me like they were at my concert, I bet it was hella annoying to everyone lol I was always in the choir at school and I'm lowkey mad that I didn't grow up in the church because that would have brought my vocals all the way to heaven and back!
Defining Moment
My first defining moment of music was before I even started kindergarten, I got in trouble for something and my mom sent me to her room (so I couldn't play toys or anything). I was crying on the bed and the radio started playing "We are the world". I still remember how my heart skipped a beat at that moment, all the tears stopped and I sat still listening to every note, every background sound, it was like I was frozen. I sat staring at the radio in awe! That moment changed my life.
My Vision
My ultimate goal would be to make music in the comforts of my own studio and when I feel like it is ready to be released into the world, like a baby bird I'll let it go and fly. I'm not interested in being an artist, I can't be locked into a box or even tied down to one genre...my creative process requires me to create freely and without limitations. At the risk of sounding like the Coyote Ugly storyline....I just want someone great to sing my songs while I continue to be left the hell alone lol.
